V2 PC Share Jumper Placement
The following hardware jumper must be added to the Vanilla 2 interface board when the PC Share feature is required. A jumper must cover pins 23-24 on the Parallel "out" connector so that the V2 will keep the "paper" signal low (grounded). If pin 23 is not grounded, the V2 will send back a high "paper" signal and PC share will not work (the PC assumes the V2 is busy and ceases data exchange). The following diagram indicates jumper placement:
